Fans had shown huge support for Amorim<\/a> despite his terrible Premier League record and club-worst finish in 2024\/25, so not hearing from the 41-year-old has been disappointing.<\/p>\n

It is reported that Amorim \u201cdoes not want to cause a distraction\u201d for his successor Michael Carrick.<\/p>\n

Carrick has made a flawless start to life as United\u2019s head coach, already matching Amorim\u2019s best winning streak of three games in a row.<\/p>\n

Amorim went out in a blaze of frustration at United, taking swipes at sporting director Jason Wilcox on his way out.<\/p>\n

It has been made clear that Wilcox was interfering with tactics<\/a> during Amorim\u2019s time in charge, and the Portuguese head coach clearly felt some lines had been crossed.<\/p>\n

As much as Amorim is waiting to bid farewell to the club he spent 14 months at, it could also be an opportunity for him to lift the lid on what really happened before his sacking.<\/p>\n
