The Boston Celtics didn’t make any major moves Thursday, but they were plenty busy.<\/p>\n
After acquiring big man Nikola Vucevic and a second-round pick from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for guard Anfernee Simons and a second-round pick on Tuesday, the Celtics made a trio of minor deals ahead of the 3 p.m. ET NBA trade deadline, sending Chris Boucher to the Utah Jazz, Josh Minott to the Brooklyn Nets and Xavier Tillman to the Charlotte Hornets.<\/p>\n
In the aftermath, the Celtics are now under the NBA’s luxury tax and have an open roster spot they potentially could use to sign a player on the buyout market.<\/p>\n
