Thompson, who is part of Canada\u2019s roster for the Olympics, hasn\u2019t played since Jan. 27.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Capitals are four points behind the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/new-york-islanders\/2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/new-york-islanders\/2\" target=\"_blank\">New York Islanders<\/a> for the last playoff spot in the Metropolitan Division.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 27-year-old Dubois went without a point in the six games he\u2019s played this season.
