The ACT Brumbies are delighted to announce that local talent Rory Scott has re-signed with the organisation for a further two years,\u00a0turning down interest from rival clubs to\u00a0continue\u00a0his journey with\u00a0his hometown club\u00a0through to 2028.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Marist College alumnus and proud Canberra Royals product, Rory is about as Canberra as they come. <\/p>\n
The\u00a0bruising backrower\u00a0took up rugby as a kid for the Royals club before moving to\u00a0Marist. Upon graduation, he returned to his junior club, helping them towards\u00a0back-to-back Premierships. <\/p>\n
Rising through the Brumbies Pathway program, Rory made his home debut in 2021 against the Western Force and has since cemented himself as a key member of the Brumbies squad.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In 2024, Rory\u2019s performances earned him selection in the Australian A side, where he travelled to England for fixtures against Bristol Bears and England A. <\/p>\n
Brumbies fans know their number seven is non-stop, and his 2025 season showcased his work rate and impact on both sides of the ball, finishing with 197 tackles \u2013 placing him in the top 10 for the season \u2013 alongside 115 carries and nine turnovers won.\u00a0<\/p>\n
