For the first time in 2026, the UFC will touch down in the newly minted \u201cMeta\u201d Apex for a Fight Night offering headlined by a pair of bantamweights looking to break out in a crowded top 10. The card features a good mix of seasoned veterans as well as relative newcomers looking to make a name for themselves in the UFC. We also get treated to a trio of women\u2019s MMA bouts after an Australian card that featured exclusively male talent. The first of the women\u2019s bouts between Klaudia Sygula and Priscila \u201cZombie Girl\u201d Cachoeira is a natural starting point for our analysis, as it will be kicking off the preliminary portion of the event.<\/p>\n

UFC Fight Night: Bautista vs. Oliveira \u2013 MMA DFS Picks & Betting Breakdown Klaudia Sygula ($8,600) vs. Priscila Cachoeira ($7,600) <\/p>\n

\"Cachoeira<\/p>\n

Klaudia Sygula (1-1 UFC) looked very unimpressive in her UFC debut against Melissa Mullins, glued to the floor, allowing her guard to be easily passed, and getting finished after allowing her opponent to get multiple dominant positions inside of 2 rounds. She followed that up with a much better showing against Irina Alekseeva (1-3 UFC), but a lot of that success can be attributed to Alekseeva being one of the worst fighters on the roster. \u201cRussian Ronda\u201d is a gas bag with no UFC-level win condition outside of a meme submission.<\/p>\n

Priscilla Cachoeira will never beat the upper echelon of the division because she is such a flawed fighter. Her recent losses against Joselyne Edwards, Jasmine Jasudavicius, and Miranda Maverick demonstrate that ceiling. That being said, this matchup against Sygula feels more on the level of a Josiane Nunes or an Ariane Lipski da Silva fight, the two women whom Cachoeira most recently defeated, so this should be a winnable matchup. Cachoeira has power (3 UFC KDs, 4 wins via KO\/TKO), she is willing to throw down on the feet, and it takes a lot of effort and commitment to offense to finish her. Zombie Girl\u2019s ground game is appalling, but Sygula is a mediocre grappler in her own right.<\/p>\n

If Sygula is smart, she will look to crash the pocket and take Cachoeira down as quickly as possible. Sygula is an ATT product, so I do expect her to show improvements over time. The problem for Sygula is that the longer this fight stays on the feet, the more likely it is that Cachoeira will either land with a damaging strike that could change the complexion of the fight or the round. Cachoeira may have lost a step at 37, as she has conceded 2 knockdowns in her last 3 UFC fights, but I would confidently pick both Jasudavicius and Edwards to beat up Sygula. Give me the savvy veteran to pull another trick out of her hat and floor Sygula with an uppercut from Hades.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Priscila Cachoeira defeats Klaudia Sygula via KO\/DEC<\/p>\n
