AFL star Bailey Smith is set to lose his driver\u2019s licence after he was caught speeding well over the limit last month. <\/p>\n

The Herald Sun<\/a> reports the Geelong Cats star was driving at 125km\/h near his home on Victoria\u2019s Surf Coast during the state\u2019s recent bushfires. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s reported Smith was concerned about his 5.8 hectare home and the animals on the property at Bellbrae when he was caught speeding in January. <\/p>\n

The speeding offence has taken Smith over his demerit points allocation and he is now set to lose his driver\u2019s licence for three months. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s the latest controversy for Smith, who has rarely been out of the headlines since he switched teams from the Western Bulldogs to Geelong.<\/p>\n

He effectively forced Geelong to cancel Mad Monday events going forward after he posted an in appropriate photo and caption referring to veteran footy journalist Caroline Wilson. <\/p>\n

Late in the season, Smith verbally abused a female Geelong Advertiser photographer during a media-approved training session, prompting an official warning from the AFL. <\/p>\n

AFL CEO Andrew Dillon visited Smith\u2019s home for a discussion about his off field conduct and behaviour on social media.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old had a career best season in his maiden campaign with Geelong, playing in the Cats\u2019 grand final loss to the Brisbane Lions. <\/p>\n

Smith was named to his first all-Australian team, revealing he had spent time in a psychiatric ward before moving to Geelong. <\/p>\n

He was romantically linked to influencer Tammy Hembrow last year, but this week Smith was spotted with a new woman in his life<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The gun midfielder was seen at Melbourne Airport on Sunday with the same woman he was pictured with during a date in Manly \u2014 on Sydney\u2019s Northern Beaches last week.<\/p>\n

Media Mode has identified the woman as Holly Kleverlaan, a Melburnian, who previously lived in Perth.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old footballer appeared frustrated after noticing that a photographer was there to capture the moment the couple returned to Melbourne.<\/p>\n

He was photographed sticking his middle finger up in the direction of the camera.<\/p>\n
