A striking majority of F1 fans believe Lewis Hamilton can win a historic eighth world championship if Ferrari delivers a car capable of challenging.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hamilton is keen to break the ultimate F1 record he jointly holds with Michael Schumacher for the most drivers’ championships in grand prix racing, having lost his first chance at doing so in the controversial ending to the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Since then, Max Verstappen has won four successive titles and Lando Norris one as the seven-time champion badly struggled to adapt to the ground effect era of car, which was at odds with his driving style.<\/p>\n
Hamilton prefers to brake hard and late and sharply turn into corners, known as ‘V-ing’ the corner, whilst the 2022-2025 cars favoured an earlier braking approach before rolling the car through the corner, known as ‘U-ing’.<\/p>\n
