Likewise did the 2023\/24 dominos of Will Brown<\/a> (Triple Eight), Jack Le Brocq<\/a> (Erebus), David Reynolds<\/a> (Team 18) and Richie Stanaway<\/a> (Grove Racing) all fall in August.<\/p>\n So, where do things currently sit?<\/p>\n It\u2019s been well documented by now that the top five teams \u2013 Triple Eight, Grove, Tickford, Walkinshaw Andretti United and DJR \u2013 all are planning to carry across unchanged driver line-ups.<\/p>\n But further down the lane, there is plenty to play out.<\/p>\n Brad Jones Racing<\/p>\n Incumbents: Andr\u00e9 Heimgartner<\/a> (under contract), Bryce Fullwood<\/a>, Macauley Jones<\/a>, Jaxon Evans<\/a><\/p>\n Other likely candidates: Cameron Hill<\/a>, Zach Bates<\/a>, Brad Vaughan<\/a><\/p>\n Heimgartner isn\u2019t going anywhere, nor is Jones provided he wants to press on.<\/p>\n Hill, a race winner this year for Matt Stone Racing, has been heavily linked to the #14 seat.<\/p>\n Evans appears to have the inside running for the SCT drive, but admitted in Townsville it\u2019s no sure thing as yet for 2026.<\/p>\n In-form Fullwood is a known quantity in his fourth season at Albury. BJR\u2019s Toyota move meanwhile has been observed as a neat fit for Super2 champion Bates, while Vaughan is the hottest talent within the team\u2019s own junior ranks.<\/p>\n Team 18<\/p>\n Incumbents: Anton De Pasquale (under contract), David Reynolds<\/p>\n Other likely candidates: Harri Jones, James Golding<\/a>, Rylan Gray<\/a><\/p>\n It really has been a tale of two halves this year, with De Pasquale shining and Reynolds struggling.<\/p>\n Reynolds still is undoubtedly capable on his day, a race winner less than two years ago and a pole-sitter just last month. He remains podium-less though at Team 18 during which time De Pasquale and Mark Winterbottom<\/a> have thrice secured trophies.<\/p>\n The dilemma is whether to extend Reynolds short-term before revisiting the market for 2027, or to back itself to uncover a new star like Super2 leader Gray or double Carrera Cup champ Jones, or to meet in the middle with someone like a Golding.<\/p>\n Matt Stone Racing<\/p>\n Incumbents: Nick Percat<\/a> (under contract), Cameron Hill<\/p>\n Other likely candidates: Jack Le Brocq, Bryce Fullwood, Declan Fraser<\/a>, Rylan Gray, Cameron McLeod<\/a><\/p>\n Hill\u2019s anticipated departure leaves at least one seat available at the four-time Gen3 race-winning squad.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t rule out a JLB reunion.<\/p>\n Fullwood is also familiar to MSR from representing them once upon a time in the enduros and Super2. Fraser and Gray have been speculated as young gun options in the mix, and McLeod is a promising prospect already on its books.<\/p>\n PremiAir Racing<\/p>\n Incumbents: James Golding, Richie Stanaway<\/p>\n Other likely candidates: Jayden Ojeda<\/a>, Nash Morris<\/a>, Declan Fraser, Zach Bates<\/p>\n PremiAir could make anywhere from zero to two changes, but the longer that season 2025 has gone on, the more it has seemed the likely scenario has increasingly shifted from the former to the latter.<\/p>\n Ojeda is thought to be a genuine shot of finally landing a full-time ride.<\/p>\n Morris will have his chance to directly impress at the upcoming enduros, while Fraser and Bates are well-presented youngsters determined to show off the credentials that powered them to Super2 titles.<\/p>\n Erebus Motorsport<\/p>\n Incumbents: Cooper Murray (under contract), Jack Le Brocq<\/p>\n Other likely candidates: Jobe Stewart, Jarrod Hughes<\/p>\n Le Brocq has been a good fit and has calmly led the charge in 2025 as Murray more and more finds his feet.<\/p>\n An extension would provide some welcome stability to build on; alternatively, long-time prot\u00e9g\u00e9 Jobe Stewart is keenly waiting in the wings.<\/p>\n Erebus has never been afraid to blood fresh talent and while Stewart is thought to be first in line, the bubbly yet speedy Hughes is also plying his trade.<\/p>\n Blanchard Racing Team<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/2025_Supercars_Rd6_PaceImages_00725-Social-1024x576.jpg\")
