OCEANSIDE, N.Y. \u2013 The Saint Joseph’s men’s tennis team collected a shutout victory on Sunday, blanking Hofstra by a 4-0 score.

\nHOW IT HAPPENED
\n\u2022 The Hawks took the early lead via the doubles point.\u00a0 Othman Bezzaz<\/a> and Ernesto Ruy<\/a> were 6-3 winners in the second flight; a third-flight walkover then clinched the first point of the day for SJU.

\n\u2022\u00a0After a walkover in the sixth singles flight doubled the lead, Sehaj Singh Pawar<\/a> notched his first singles victory with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph in the fifth flight.
