Jeremy Cameron has withdrawn from Victoria\u2019s Origin team as he continues his recovery from the broken arm he sustained in last year\u2019s Grand Final.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile I\u2019ve done the majority of pre-season, I only started full contact training last week,\u201d\u00a0Cameron said.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u201cIdeally with another week I\u2019d be able to get the needed contact sessions under my belt to play in a match of this intensity.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m disappointed I won\u2019t be running out in the Big V this year, I know the boys will do Victoria proud and I hope to get the opportunity to play in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Cameron won\u2019t\u00a0be running out for Victoria in Saturday night’s match against WA, he remains on track to play in Geelong\u2019s Opening Round\u00a0match against\u00a0Gold Coast on Friday 6 March.<\/p>\n
The Cats will still be very well represented in AFL Origin, with five players to feature in the match along with Chris Scott who will coach the Victorian team.\u00a0<\/p>\n
