TYREPOWER is returning to the status of naming rights partner of the annual Tasmania Supercars round.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s in line with a new two-year arrangement covering the 2026 and 2027 rounds at Symmons Plains.<\/p>\n

Tyrepower supported the Tassie race for a chunk of the 2010s; since dropping off the calendar during the COVID-19 pandemic, the event had been underpinned by NED Whisky and then Snowy River Caravans.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re delighted to welcome Tyrepower back as naming rights partner and thank them for their fantastic support of the Tyrepower Tasmania Super440,\u201d said Supercars chief revenue officer Jamie Black.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the shortest track on our calendar, Symmons Plains Raceway is home to some of the most intense door-to-door racing of the season, as fans saw in last year\u2019s thrilling finish (between Matt Payne<\/a> and Broc Feeney<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe look forward to working with Tyrepower and delivering another great event for Tasmanian race fans, both on and off the racetrack.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Tasmania Super440 will take place across May 22-24, with the second of three races that weekend to mark the venue\u2019s 100 ATCC\/Supercars Championship race.<\/p>\n

Wanneroo Raceway is the only other track to have reached that milestone.<\/p>\n
