THE last Supercar in Craig Lowndes<\/a>\u2019 storied journey with Triple Eight Race Engineering remains up for grabs.<\/p>\n

Triple Eight boss Jamie Whincup<\/a> has confirmed to V8 Sleuth that chassis 888A-068 is still on the market.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had very strong interest in that car but no deposit has been paid yet, so that car is still available,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Lowndes spent 21 seasons at Triple Eight, recording 58 championship race wins including six Bathurst 1000 victories.<\/p>\n

Having opted to stay aligned with General Motors when Triple Eight elected to rejoin Ford, Lowndes\u2019 next Supercars races will come with Team 18 \u2013 sporting the #15 with which he began his career<\/a>.<\/p>\n

888A-068 has just seven races under its belt. It was called into action following the discovery of damage to the centre section of 888A-060 when Cooper Murray<\/a> was sent skyward at the 2024 Darwin Triple Crown.<\/p>\n

That saw 888A-068 step in for that year\u2019s enduros, starting with a Sandown 500 top five for Murray\/Lowndes, and continue as the Supercheap Auto wildcard car last season.<\/p>\n

That culminated in a 10th place finish for Lowndes\/Zach Bates<\/a> in the wild Great Race of 2025.<\/p>\n

The Triple Eight Camaros raced by Will Brown<\/a> and Broc Feeney<\/a> the past two seasons had already been sold prior to their final race starts.<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s new chapter began yesterday, with Feeney and Jackson Walls<\/a> shaking down their Mustangs at Queensland Raceway; Brown will get his turn today.<\/p>\n
