Pittsburgh: 9–16 (17th in ACC)

Freshman Queensland forward Roman Siulepa finished with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block, shooting 6–15 from the field, 4–11 from three, and 3–6 at the free-throw line in Pittsburgh’s loss to #4 Duke. He committed zero turnovers.

Siulepa accounted for 35% of Pittsburgh’s total scoring and was the only Panther to consistently generate perimeter production.

Duke methodically wore down Pittsburgh in the second half, holding the Panthers to 25 points after the break and closing on a 70–54 road win. The Blue Devils shot 55% from the field and generated consistent paint touches and kick-outs, finishing with 16 assists on 28 made field goals.

Pittsburgh stayed within two possessions for much of the first half, trailing just six at the break. But Duke’s shot-making and defensive discipline gradually created separation, particularly as the Panthers struggled to convert perimeter looks (9–33 from three).

LSU: 14–10 (14th in SEC)

LSU went down by 29 points at home as Arkansas established control early and extended the margin through the middle periods. The Tigers struggled to generate consistent half-court offense and were limited from the perimeter, falling behind before halftime and unable to reduce the deficit in the second half.

Senior guard Max Mackinnon logged 20 minutes and was held to two points as LSU’s backcourt rotation compressed in the one-sided result.
