The Super Bowl halftime show featuring Bad Bunny, though not consequential to our daily lives, was still a deliberate slap in the face delivered by the NFL and its entertainment overlord, Jay-Z.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And you might be surprised to hear me say this, but\u2026 it\u2019s not Bad Bunny\u2019s fault.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He did exactly what the NFL and Jay-Z sent him out there to do. Deliver a big FU to at least half the audience, maybe more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He\u2019s Puerto Rican, speaks Spanish, hates ICE and has dirty lyrics that \u2014 the silver lining \u2014 most of us can\u2019t and didn\u2019t and don\u2019t have any desire to understand.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t fault him for that. That\u2019s his thing. Go for it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
What\u2019s more barf-inducing is the way white libs are fawning all over him and his performance, whether they actually liked it or understood a word of it or not.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In fact, there\u2019s a direct correlation between the whiteness of the Lib and the cringe level of their fake ass fawning over Bad Bunny.<\/p>\n

Just look at the Newsoms, for example.<\/p>\n
The “Benito Bowl?”\u00a0<\/p>\n
That sounds like something you\u2019d order from Chipotle.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But in all seriousness, the way libs \u2014 mostly the white ones (shocker) \u2014 are bending and falling all over themselves to convince us that it was an “All American performance” is theater in itself.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And it\u2019s the white libs that are DEMANDING we acknowledge Puerto Rico as “All American” when the Puerto Ricans themselves are like\u2026 nah, we are Puerto Rican.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And yeah, for all the corny asses on social media who are gonna say I\u2019m stupid because Puerto Rico IS part of the U.S., yeah I\u2019m aware. It\u2019s a territory.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But back to the NFL, why would they choose an artist that\u2019s A. not from the San Francisco area, B. doesn\u2019t speak English, and C. sh*ts on our ICE agents?\u00a0<\/p>\n
Is the NFL so desperate for Hispanic and Latino viewership that they\u2019re willing to put on a halftime show that a great majority \u2014 including NFL players themselves \u2014 aren\u2019t familiar with and can\u2019t understand?\u00a0<\/p>\n
And I know people point to Bad Bunny\u2019s downloads and global popularity and that\u2019s true, but outside of maybe Miami\u2026 he\u2019s not a household name.<\/p>\n
And yeah, I know a lot of people in this country speak Spanish and only Spanish and yeah, that\u2019s another consequence of open borders, by the way.\u00a0<\/p>\n
If the NFL wanted to pick a performer that, ya know, is popular and performs in our language\u2026 it\u2019s not hard to find one.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day, the Super Bowl halftime show is small potatoes, and I recognize that.
