H\ufeffollywood’s brightest stars are gearing up for the biggest night of the year \u2013 the Oscars<\/a>!<\/p>\n

The 2026 nominees have arrived at the annual pre-Oscars lunch for their “class photo” at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Attendees included Aussies Rose Byrne<\/a> and Jacob Elordi<\/a>, as well as \ufeffLeonardo DiCaprio, Michael B. Jordan<\/a>, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a>, Teyana Taylor, Emma Stone<\/a>, Elle Fanning, Chlo\u00e9 Zhao and Kate Hudson<\/a> among other stars vying for wins in their respective categories.<\/p>\n

Sinners is leading the \ufeffcohort with a record-breaking 16 nominations, followed by One Battle After Another with 13, Sentimental Value with nine and Hamnet with eight.<\/p>\n

Among the individual record-breakers this year are Emma Stone<\/a> and Timoth\u00e9e\ufeff Chalamet.<\/p>\n

Stone was nominated for Best Actress (acting) and Best Picture (producing) in this year’s awards for Bugonia, and in 2023 for Poor Things.<\/p>\n

Her nomination this year makes her the youngest person and only woman to be nominated for both an acting and producing Oscar, for the same film, twice.<\/p>\n

It also pushes her over the \ufeffedge as the youngest actress to earn seven Oscar nominations at the age of 37.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Chalamet has become the youngest person to \ufeffbe nominated for both an acting and producing Oscar (Best Actor and Best Picture) in the same year for Marty Supreme.<\/p>\n

He has achieved the milestone at 30 years old.<\/p>\n

Chalamet is also the youngest actor to receive three Best Actor \ufeffnominations since Marlon Brando in 1954.<\/p>\n

His competition in the category is strong, going up against Michael B. Jordan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke and Wagner Moura.<\/p>\n

Aussie Jacob Elordi is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Creature in \ufeffGuillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Byrne has been nominated for the Best Actress \ufeffcategory for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, which won her a Golden Globe just a few weeks ago. \ufeff<\/p>\n

She and Stone attended the pre-Oscars luncheon alongside the other Best Actress \ufeffnominees Kate Hudson, Jessie Buckley and Renate Reinsve.<\/p>\n

This year’s nominees were also joined by Oscar recipients including Steven Spielberg and Diane Warren, among other guests.<\/p>\n

The 2026 Oscars will be held \ufeffon March 15 (March 16 for Australians) at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.<\/p>\n
