Beloved crime drama High Potential<\/a> has taken a break from its regular episode schedule<\/a>, but there’s a perfectly good reason why.<\/p>\n

The ABC production returned for season two back in September 2025, and has had US and UK viewers completely hooked.<\/p>\n

For those who missed the first instalment<\/a>, the show follows Morgan Gillory (Kaitlin Olson), a highly intelligent single mother, who works as a night-time cleaner at the LAPD.<\/p>\n

When she unintentionally cracks the case on an unsolvable crime, Morgan is hired to work as a civilian consultant for the Major Crimes Division.<\/p>\n

From there, she is paired up with by-the-book Detective Adam Karadec (Daniel Sunjata), and the duo go on to solve crimes only Morgan could uncover.<\/p>\n

The drama’s second season has so far released 12 episodes, all of which are available to stream on Disney Plus<\/a>. But when can viewers tune back into the drama?<\/p>\n

High Potential is taking a temporary break, with ABC currently airing rerun episodes instead.<\/p>\n

It is believed that the network opted to hold back new instalments because the Winter Olympics are currently airing on NBC, which means viewers’ attention is elsewhere.<\/p>\n

The drama will actually return for its next episode on Tuesday, March 3, which means it will be available to stream on Disney+ from March 4.<\/p>\n

After this short period, the show will continue its usual schedule and air weekly until the finale, Episode 18.<\/p>\n

So far, the second series has earned a stellar 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a slight improvement on last season’s 96% score.<\/p>\n

Fans have been left thoroughly impressed by the first batch of episodes. One five-star review reads: “Brilliant. I have loved every episode of both seasons.”<\/p>\n

“Wonderfully cast, written, directed. I never sat there and thought ‘I saw that coming’. Totally entertaining and unique. I hope it runs for 20 years.”<\/p>\n
