He hasn&#8217;t played since, and he is still owed $78 million over three seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The four-time All-Star helped the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"5cda5067-7075-66b1-4b94-2333ab8d9807\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/chc\/chicago-cubs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago Cubs<\/a> end a 108-year World Series drought in 2016, his MVP season.
