Offer ends 20th Feb.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tander, the 2007 Supercars champion, is already a fixture in the Supercars coverage but will join the broadcast full-time after retiring from co-driving duties at the end of last season.<\/p>\n<p>The six-time Bathurst 1000 winner will be the sport\u2019s new permanent lead analyst. Winterbottom, the 2015 champion, and Courtney, the 2010 title winner, will join him rotationally through the year to form a three-person commentary team for several races. <\/p>\n<p>All three drivers bring contemporary knowledge of the Gen3 car to the commentary booth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s really cool to be part of the line-up,\u201d said Winterbottom. \u201cI think this season\u2019s going to be pretty epic, and to go on the other side of it, not competing but getting to watch it and give my insight and my experience, it\u2019s going to be pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Courtney, who will co-drive with David Reynolds at Team 18 this year, said he had aimed to land a television role after announcing his decision to hang up the helmet full-time in the main game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d been planning and hoping for this to happen towards the end of my career,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m super excited about taking on this opportunity with Supercars, and I think it\u2019s going to be a lot of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rotating lead commentators Neylon, Naulty and Craill will already be well-known by Supercars fans.<\/p>\n<p>Neylon has been a long-time fixture of the Supercars broadcast who, along with Naulty, has already spent time in the commentary booth for Supercars sessions in recent years, while Craill will be familiar to viewers through his work calling categories on the series undercard.<\/p>\n<p>All three will take turns calling races during the Enduro Cup, a first for the Supercars.<\/p>\n<p>Cadillac F1 reveal 1st Livery for 2026 | 00:39<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur play-by-play callers know the talent and personalities of our emerging stars more than anyone, on and off track,\u201d said Supercars CEO James Warburton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve also spent many years proving they\u2019re ready for the step up, earning the respect of our fans. Chad, Matt and Richard bring passion, energy and proven craft to let the racing and our drivers tell their stories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith so much energy and excitement our sport is evolving. We had so much support and interest through our new finals format, the arrival of the Supra to take on the Mustangs and Camaros and so many hungry new stars behind the wheel. This all helps make us the closest, most exciting racing category on the planet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The six-pronged commentary line-up replaces the decades-old combination of Neil Crompton and five-time champion Mark Skaife, who declined offers for reduced roles in the broadcast this season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNeil and Mark have been phenomenal for Supercars and their contributions are rightfully honoured in our hall of fame,\u201d Warburton said.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Larkham will continue in his technical analyst role alongside pit lane reports Molly Taylor joins Riana Crehan.<\/p>\n<p>Coverage of the 2026 Supercars season will be bolstered by several broadcast innovations that will bring the sport into line with international motorsport categories.<\/p>\n<p>Team radio will be broadcast almost instantaneously via the television feed in what\u2019s being billed as an F1-standard protocol, and for the first time in the sport\u2019s history, fans can hear the radio from each car in real time via the Supercars app.<\/p>\n<p>The sport will be broadcast in 4K ultra-high definition and in high dynamic range for the first time, including via brand-new in-car cameras.<\/p>\n<p>The television graphics package will also be updated, including with new functionality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the new technology and our revamped line-up, this is the greatest evolution of Supercars media since the in-house department was formed in 2005,\u201d Supercars broadcast chief Nathan Prendergast said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will take our fans closer and further inside the action than ever before whilst staying true to the hardcore motorsport foundations of the coverage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the most anticipated Supercars season in many years it\u2019s perfect timing for change.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Chaz Mostert\u2019s maiden Supercars title defence will be called by an all-new title-winning commentary line-up in 2026.
