\n Will White has been informed he will not continue for the remainder of Carlton’s pre-season.\n <\/p>\n
CARLTON has today informed Will White that he will not continue with the Club for the remainder of the pre-season Supplemental Selection Period.<\/p>\n
This comes as a result of the Club granting Wade Derksen an SSP train-on spot for the remainder of the pre-season.<\/p>\n
Derksen, a versatile tall, recently signed with the Blues\u2019 VFL side after 57 VFL games for GWS, in which he led the Giants goalkicking in 2023 before being named as a defender in the VFL Team of the Year in 2024.<\/p>\n
The 24-year-old will now train full-time with the AFL program over the coming weeks, ahead of the pre-season Supplemental Selection Period deadline on 2 March.<\/p>\n
The Club currently has one available list spot that is has the option to fill prior to the deadline.<\/p>\n
White officially departs the Blues\u2019 AFL program after 12 months on the playing list.<\/p>\n
Signed on the eve of the 2025 season, White played 14 games in the Navy Blue last year.<\/p>\n
