J Bee Wit The Remedy will release his new album Trying Times soon, and we posted his single “Death Of Love<\/a>” already. Today, he breaks us off with the woozily lovestruck “I Had A Dream She Took My Hand.” It sounds like it’s built on a sample of some Lynchian ’50s pop standard, but it’s actually built on a sample of “It Was Only A Dream<\/a>” a Lynchian-’50s-pop pastiche that LA band Thee Sinseers released in 2019.<\/p>\n Blake’s track is mostly focused on his voice and piano, but it builds nicely to a reverb-drenched choir and some strong live-drummer business. In addition to the record itself, Blake also shared a video of himself and his band performing it live in studio, and he announced some North American tour dates.
