Here are the Australians competing on day seven of the Winter Olympics (all times are AEDT):<\/p>\n

Snowboard cross: Mia Clift, Josie Baff and Abbey Wilson in the women’s first seeding run at 8pm<\/p>\n

Cross-country skiing: Seve de Campo, Hugo Hinckfuss and Lars Young Vik in the men’s 10km interval start free at 9:45pm \ud83e\udd47\ud83e\udd48\ud83e\udd49<\/p>\n

Snowboard halfpipe:\u00a0Scotty James and Valentino Guseli in the men’s final at 5:30am \ud83e\udd47\ud83e\udd48\ud83e\udd49<\/p>\n

Skeleton: Nicholas Timmings in the men’s heats at 5:30am<\/p>\n

Great news for Aussies Mia Clift and Josie Baff, who have avoided a second seeding run in the women’s snowboard cross.<\/p>\n

Clift was 11th and Baff 17th on the standings, having needed to finish inside the top 20 to advance straight to the 1\/8 finals.<\/p>\n

Given fatigue can play a factor in this competition, skipping the second run is an advantage.<\/p>\n

\"Abbey(AP)<\/p>\n

Teammate Abbey Wilson was 23rd after posting a time of 1:16.38.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old \u2014 on Olympic debut \u2014will contest the second seeding run, but will not be eliminated regardless of how she fares.<\/p>\n

Updating the first seeding run in the women’s snowboard cross, and Mia Clift is the best-placed of the Australians so far.<\/p>\n

Clift (1:14.43) is in 11th place on the standings, with 20 athletes having made their run.<\/p>\n

Josie Baff (1:15.62) is in 16th spot.<\/p>\n

Eva Adamczykov\u00e1 (1:12.29) of Czechia is leading the standings.<\/p>\n

There are still 12 athletes to come, including Abbey Wilson.<\/p>\n

The top 20 will progress straight to the 1\/8 finals, with the remaining 12 to move into the second seeding run.<\/p>\n

Baff is 14th on the provisional standings, with 18 athletes still to come in the opening seeding round.<\/p>\n

Eva Adamczykov\u00e1 still leads with 1:12.29.<\/p>\n

Australian Abbey Wilson will be the last competitor to go down the course.<\/p>\n

The seeding runs are effectively time trials, as the athletes don’t compete against each other during this stage.<\/p>\n

After 11 of 32 athletes, Czech\u00a0Eva Adamczykov\u00e1 is the clubhouse leader with a time of 1:12.29.<\/p>\n

Coming up at 8pm, we have the first seeding run in the women’s snowboard cross.<\/p>\n

Australia has three competitors \u2014 Mia Clift, Josie Baff and Abbey Wilson.<\/p>\n

There are 32 athletes competing in the opening run.<\/p>\n

Clift is 12th in the starting order, with Baff 14th and Wilson 32nd.<\/p>\n

The top 20 in the first seeding run advance straight to the 1\/8 finals, or the round of 32.<\/p>\n

Those outside the top 20 aren’t eliminated, instead they take part in the second seeding run to determine which of the 1\/8 finals they will contest.<\/p>\n

Hello and welcome to ABC Sport’s live blog of the Winter Olympics, as we launch ourselves into day seven.<\/p>\n

Everyone is still on a high after Cooper Woods’s shock victory in the men’s moguls, and Australia could potentially add to its medal tally over the next 10 hours or so.<\/p>\n

Scotty James and Valentino Guseli compete in the men’s snowboard halfpipe final on Saturday morning AEDT, but before that we have several other Aussies in action.<\/p>\n

We’ll be turning our attention soon to the women’s snowboard cross, with the first seeding run starting at 8pm AEDT.<\/p>\n
