A source claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex feel the spotlight has shifted away from them and onto Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a> amid renewed controversial attention. The source added that though Markle is not celebrating the situation, she does feel the dynamic has changed.<\/p>\n

Star<\/a> magazine exclusively reported Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle\u2019s take on the controversy that surrounds the royals following ex-Prince Andrew\u2019s scandals. A source told Star, \u201cMeghan insists that this gives her no pleasure. She says the whole situation absolutely sickens her,\u201d further claiming, \u201cThat being said, she and Harry have long felt the royals have used them as scapegoats to distract from much more damaging issues like Andrew.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moreover, the source explained, \u201cIt was always hard for [Meghan and Harry] to understand how that could just be swept under the rug and ignored while they were being crucified over so much less.\u201d Therefore, \u201cto have Andrew finally facing some consequences has got to feel vindicating for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the report cited a heckler who shouted, \u201cHave you been covering up for Andrew?\u201d at Prince William<\/a> and Princess Kate outside a Stirling, Scotland, pub on January 20. During a visit to Saudi Arabia, a reporter asked William about Andrew. The prince reportedly did not respond.<\/p>\n

The source claimed, \u201cThe fact that this mess has landed on William\u2019s doorstep won\u2019t earn him any sympathy from Meghan.\u201d They added, \u201cIn her view, he chose the side of the institution that let this go on for years so now he\u2019s going to pay the price for that decision.\u201d As the palace faces more questions, the source said, \u201cNo doubt he\u2019ll be cleaning up this mess for years to come and Meghan and Harry are both thrilled to be ten thousand miles away from all of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
