Draftees Lachy Dovaston and Hugo Mikunda will take to the field on opposing sides in North Melbourne’s official AFL intraclub match at Arden Street Oval on Friday.<\/p>\n
Livewire Dovaston, who was selected with pick No.16 in November’s AFL Draft, will start for the blue team in a forward line packed with senior Roos including Paul Curtis, Cam Zurhaar and new captain Nick Larkey.<\/p>\n
Mikunda, who became a Roo at draft pick No.48, lines up with the orange team alongside a host of young Roos including Zac Banch, Zane Duursma and Cooper Trembath.<\/p>\n
The intraclub will take place as part of the club’s annual Fan Day, which continues at Arden Street after the match with plenty for everyone, including player autograph signings, kids activities and your chance to get a photo with the 2024 and 2025 AFLW premiership cups.\u00a0<\/p>\n
North Melbourne will also live stream the intraclub match from 5pm AEDT exclusively to Kangaroos members, and for fans who register to watch via the form at the bottom of this article.<\/p>\n
Channel Seven’s Nigel Carmody and Fox Footy’s Leigh Montagna will call the action, with special guests from the Kangaroos.<\/p>\n
