Happy mums Num-Oi, Dokkoon and Mali are expecting their calves around April 2027. In the meantime, you can see the nine-member herd on the <a href=\"https:\/\/secretmelbourne.com\/elephant-trail\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretmelbourne.com\/elephant-trail\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_1\" data-category=\"click_internal\">Elephant Trail<\/a> at the zoo in Werribee.<\/p>\n<p>    Pregnant elephants at Werribee Open Range Zoo <\/p>\n<p>This herd of Asian elephants made the massive move from <a href=\"https:\/\/secretmelbourne.com\/elephants-werribee-open-range-zoo\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretmelbourne.com\/elephants-werribee-open-range-zoo\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_2\" data-category=\"click_internal\">Melbourne Zoo to their 21-hectare home<\/a> just last year. See them up close as you meander along the walking trail. Watch them cool off in two mega pools, journey underneath an Elephant Overpass, and visit the barn, where you might see keepers training the herd.<\/p>\n<p>Asian elephants are endangered, making this baby boom extra precious.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re planning to visit the trail, remember that kids go free on weekends and public holidays.
