Inter Milan are planning a major summer move to strengthen their midfield, with Roma star Manu Kone emerging as a top target.<\/p>\n

Club directors view the France international as the missing piece in Cristian Chivu\u2019s system, as per L\u2019Interista<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They want more physicality, intensity and balance in central areas. Inter tracked the 2001-born midfielder last summer and now appear ready to act.<\/p>\n

Italian reports suggest Inter could submit a \u20ac50 million offer to Roma.<\/p>\n

The Nerazzurri are ready to offer Kone a four-year contract<\/a> worth around \u20ac4 million per season. That figure represents a clear rise on his current salary.<\/p>\n

Kone has earned a reputation as one of Europe\u2019s most complete midfielders. He wins the ball, covers ground and protects possession under pressure.<\/p>\n

His profile fits Chivu\u2019s plan to add athleticism and defensive security to the midfield.<\/p>\n

The move forms part of a wider rebuild. Inter continue to monitor Leon Goretzka\u2019s situation. Aleksandar Stankovic is also expected to return and compete for a first-team role.<\/p>\n

If Inter secure the deal, Kone<\/a> would become a cornerstone signing.
