AFL Origin has arrived with Victoria and Western Australia ready to battle for supremacy in front of a sold-out crowd at Perth\u2019s Optus Stadium on Saturday \u2014 live and free on Seven and 7plus Sport<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The game\u2019s biggest superstars headline the squads for the first genuine State of Origin clash this century, after Victoria last suited up against South Australia in 1999.<\/p>\n

Coverage kicks off at 7pm AEDT ahead of the first bounce at 7.40pm. Scroll down for all the broadcast details, including local times and channels, and the full squads.<\/p>\n

Patrick Cripps will captain WA on home soil, playing for coach Dean Cox, while Marcus Bontempelli has received the honour for a Big V side coached by Chris Scott.<\/p>\n

Cripps\u2019 teammates include Chad Warner, Kysaiah Pickett, Shai Bolton, Luke Jackson and Jesse Hogan while Bontempelli will lead a stacked midfield featuring Nick Daicos, Matt Rowell, Zak Butters, Hugh McCluggage, Bailey Holmes, Max Holmes, Noah Anderson and more.<\/p>\n

Players have already declared bruise-free footy is strictly off the menu, promising to take it seriously despite clubs having the ability to restrict their minutes.<\/p>\n

Origin last featured in some form with the bushfire relief game in early 2020 while an Indigenous All Stars team played Fremantle in pre-season last year. AFL boss Andrew Dillon has yet to commit to bringing AFL Origin back in 2027.<\/p>\n

The first episode of No Holds Barred, a docuseries on the GWS Giants\u2019 2025 campaign, will air immediately after Seven\u2019s AFL Origin post-game coverage on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The call will be led by Brian Taylor and James Brayshaw alongside expert commentators Kane Cornes, Luke Hodge, Abbey Holmes and a returning star \u2014 WA favourite Nic Naitanui.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m pumped to be joining the Seven team as an expert commentator for the return of AFL Origin,\u201d the former Eagles champion said.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike many others who played throughout the 2010s, I would have loved the chance to represent my state at the highest level, so I can\u2019t wait to see the two states battle it out at Optus Stadium in front of a roaring crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been a lot of chatter about how Victoria will be the easy winners of the match, but I wouldn\u2019t be so sure. I think the WA boys will be absolutely raring to go and the home ground advantage will be a massive factor.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait to get among the atmosphere on the boundary line for the Seven broadcast and hopefully see WA pull off a huge win against the Vics. It will be a must watch.\u201d<\/p>\n
