As you may know, Aspinall has been sidelined since October of last year after suffering double eyes pokes<\/a> at UFC 321 in a heavyweight title defense against Ciryl Gane. Aspinall had been ridiculed for not continuing the fight despite revealing that he has lasting effects from the injury. Some people around the MMA community may have even doubted the severity of the incident, but after learning of Aspinall\u2019s double eye surgery<\/a> earlier this week there should be no more speculation.<\/p>\n Aspinall is fighting for his vision right now and his UFC future completely depends on getting it repaired to what it once was. The only problem is that Aspinall is still experiencing some major side effects from Gane\u2019s illegal act four months ago. These issues are prohibiting Aspinall from driving a car, playing with his kids, and returning to training.
