A motorcyclist has died after colliding with the kerb, becoming Canberra\u2019s fourth road death for 2026.<\/p>\n

An ACT Policing spokesperson said that a single motorbike incident occurred in Giralang earlier this morning (15 February).<\/p>\n

Police and emergency services were called to Canopus Crescent at about 5:45 am, after reports a motorcycle had collided with the kerb.<\/p>\n

\u201cSadly, a 24-year-old man was declared deceased at the scene,\u201d police say.<\/p>\n

ACT Policing\u2019s Major Collision Team is investigating the incident.<\/p>\n

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage of the collision, to come forward.<\/p>\n

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.<\/p>\n

In January, a man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on the Monaro Highway<\/a> near Royalla, and a four-year-old pedestrian was killed<\/a> in Mawson.<\/p>\n

A woman died after a grey SUV crashed into a tree<\/a> in O\u2019Malley in a crash that also left a man hospitalised.<\/p>\n
