On Saturday, Feb. 14, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit<\/a> star, 62, celebrated Valentine\u2019s Day by sharing a rare photo<\/a> of herself and her husband, 58, cozying up while enjoying this year\u2019s Olympic Games in Italy.<\/p>\n Alongside a photo of the pair wearing beanies and gloves in front of the snowy slopes, Hargitay wrote, \u201cI love you Peter Hermann\u2665\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n Moments later, the actress also celebrated her \u201cGalentine\u201d by sharing another photo<\/a> of herself kissing Snoop Dogg<\/a>\u2019s T-shirt, which featured Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn<\/a>\u2019s face on it.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd sending a little love to my Galentine @lindseyvonn \ud83d\ude18,\u201d she wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n While Hargitay often opts to keep her marriage out of the spotlight, she does occasionally share a glimpse into her and Hermann\u2019s sweet romance since meeting on the set of Law & Order: SVU<\/a> in 1999, when Hermann guest-starred as defense attorney Trevor Langan in season 3.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was very handsome, and it was a distraction,\u201d Hargitay said during a January 2022 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show<\/a>. She recalled thinking to herself, \u201cWho is that Clark Gable, Superman guy that I need to marry today?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d never been like that to anyone ever,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n After they tied the knot in 2004<\/a>, Hargitay gave birth to son August<\/a> (now 18) two years later at age 42. It was so beautiful.”<\/p>\n Since the documentary explores the life and tragic death of Hargitay\u2019s mother, Jayne Mansfield<\/a>, Hermann surprised her with her late mom\u2019s grand piano<\/a> last year for her 60th birthday \u2014 though his methods to keep the secret from her were making her increasingly nervous.<\/p>\n “I’m sure that my husband’s gonna have me whacked,” she remembered thinking after her husband told her to get into a mysterious Uber. “I’m so scared. I was like, ‘I did nothing but be a perfect wife!’ “<\/p>\n Eventually, she arrived at a warehouse where her family and co-producer, Trish Adlesic, were waiting for her alongside Mansfield\u2019s piano.<\/p>\n “It was so magnificent,\u201d Hargitay raved of the gift. \u201cIt was one of the best things in my life. It was a reclamation.
