Uncrowned has Efe Ajagba vs. Charles Martin live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Zuffa Boxing 3 fight card on Sunday night at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Heavyweights Efe Ajagba and Charles Martin clash in the headliner of Zuffa Boxing 3.<\/p>\n

Ajagba (20-1-1, 14 KOs) was last in action this past May when he was held to a majority draw by Martin Bakole<\/a>. The decision, however, was controversial as Ajagba was thought to have gotten the better of their 10-round affair. Ajagba’s only career defeat was a 10-round unanimous decision loss at the hands of Frank Sanchez in October 2021.<\/p>\n

Martin (30-4-1, 27 KOs), a former IBF heavyweight champion, ends a 15-month layoff for Sunday’s fight. He most recently knocked out Matthew McKinney in Round 1 in November 2024. Prior to that, Martin lost a wide unanimous decision to Jared Anderson.<\/p>\n

The Ajagba vs. Martin prelims begin at 6 p.m. ET and can be watched on Paramount+. The main card starts at 9 p.m. ET, with main event ring walks expected around 11 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

Mejia shoe-shines early in Round 2. Two-way action here early doors. Great combination work from Mejia. HUGE right connects from Pe Benito in an exchange, and that buckled the knees of Mejia \u2014 the best connection in the first four minutes in Las Vegas. Both landed right hands simultaneously. Mejia snaps back the jab with a jab and will drive Benito backward with a hook. He will follow to the body and find a pair of rights upstairs. Increased activity and volume from Mejia in this round. Some clean shots from Pe Benito and now Mejia comes right back. Countering shot from Mejia and a jab follows. Left hook lands for Pe Benito and DOWN GOES MEJIA! Mejia had a terrific two-minute portion in that round but the knockdown and second hardest shot both were scored by Pe Benito. Brilliant round!<\/p>\n

Good work from Benito early doors. The forward pressure paved the way for him to keep Mejia on the backfoot and have success with a right hand downstairs. They traded on multiple occasions in the second minute. Both have had some success. Nice one-two from Mejia. Combo on the inside from Benito. Benito knocks back the head with a right hand. Benito finds a home for a left hook in an exchange. Left hook scores for Mejia. A lot of even action through the first three minutes.<\/p>\n
