F1 has confirmed a major broadcast change for the upcoming pre-season test in Bahrain.<\/p>\n

The final test of the year takes place on February 18 – 20 as teams gather the final pieces of data ahead of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix next month.<\/p>\n

McLaren team principal<\/a> Andrea Stella<\/a> is keen to see F1 implement quick fixes to the new power units after identifying an issue he sees as \u201cdangerous\u201d.<\/p>\n

Fernando Alonso has pinpointed Aston Martin<\/a> missing the majority of the private shakedown in Barcelona as a key factor in why the team was “on the back foot” during the first official pre-season test at the Bahrain International Circuit.<\/p>\n

The Silverstone-based squad was the slowest of F1’s 11 teams in Sakhir last week, and completed the fewest number of laps, having only managed 65 between the Spaniard and team-mate Lance Stroll at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in late January.<\/p>\n
