Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson\u2019s fans have rushed to her defence after she was hit with cruel comments about her appearance.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the 61-year-old Sydney-born beauty bared all in a filter-free photoshoot to promote her new collaboration with the underwear brand, Bonds.<\/p>\n

Famously nicknamed \u201cThe Body\u201d during the height of her fame, Macpherson proved she\u2019s still got it, showcasing her slim physique and endless legs as she modelled a plunging black bodysuit and red bralette with matching shorts.<\/p>\n

Many viewers were full of praise for the shoot, with many commending Macpherson for ditching the filters and revealing her \u201cnatural\u201d beauty.<\/p>\n

However, among the hundreds of positive comments, there were a few naysayers who cruelly critiqued the way Macpherson looked.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet’s talk about sun damage,\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cSadly they didn\u2019t do what we do back when she was a sun bunny,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer face is unrecognisable,\u201d a third commented.<\/p>\n

Fans quickly leapt to her defence, praising the mum-of-two for ageing naturally.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow about if you can\u2019t say anything nice, don\u2019t say anything at all,\u201d one person said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are you talking about?! Not true,\u201d another hit back, while someone else said: “Beautiful, still The Body.”<\/p>\n

The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model has previously opened up about how she maintains her stunning looks as she begins her seventh decade of life.<\/p>\n

She has admitted to having Botox and fillers, but says she has avoided surgery because she prefers to \u201ckeep it natural\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t had surgery; it\u2019s not in my game plan … because I know things can go wrong really easily,\u201d she told the Telegraph Magazine in 2016.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou might feel that you look younger but it doesn\u2019t look quite right. So I try to keep it really natural\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes people get things done and they look worse. I\u2019m a bit of a scaredy-cat and I don\u2019t want to mess with what there is. It\u2019s best to leave what I have alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving said that, I do vitamin injections, infusions and I work on my nutrition.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Aussie says she felt she needed to alter her lifestyle when she hit her 50s and noticed a change in her appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI noticed my skin, hair, and weight… I was just not feeling inspired, I had sugar cravings, and poor digestion,\u201d Macpherson said in 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I went to my nutritionist and said listen, something is wrong, I need to address my lifestyle.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe said I was taking a lot of synthetic vitamins so she put me on a powerful multivitamin, prebiotic, and probiotic powder.<\/p>\n

\"\u2018From<\/p>\n

\u201cI started taking it because I was kind of malnourished and I wasn’t sleeping much and I wasn’t eating enough fruit and vegetables and I was drinking too much coffee.\u201d<\/p>\n
