Tyson Fury said that his wife, Paris Fury, \u201cstopped speaking to me\u201d after his decision to end his boxing retirement<\/a> for a fifth time last month.<\/p>\n

The two-time WBC Heavyweight champion revealed that his father, John Fury, and brothers, John Jr., Shane and Hugh, along with half-brothers, Tommy and Roman, made it clear they didn\u2019t want him to return to the sport.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy dad stopped speaking to me for a while. My brothers stopped speaking to me, even Paris,\u201d Fury, 37, said in an interview with the Daily Mail<\/a>. \u201cEverybody cut me off.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody wanted me to return and they made that clear\u2026 but, it\u2019s my decision and my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) and Arslanbek Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs) are set to fight on April 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in a promotion by Ring Magazine that will be streamed live on Netflix.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s my decision to make, it\u2019s but probably a bit selfish,\u201d Fury said. \u201cIt\u2019s just I\u2019m at my happiest when I\u2019m in that ring entertaining people and I have no plans to stop any time soon. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll probably keep fighting until I\u2019m 50 I\u2019d say.\u201d <\/p>\n

Fury, who announced his fifth retirement in January 2025, explained that he has no agenda for being back in the ring. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m back because I\u2019ve chosen to be back,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve chosen boxing because I love boxing. I ain\u2019t boxing because I\u2019ve spent my money and I have to risk my health to make a quid. <\/p>\n

\u201cI get that people want me to move on with my life but it\u2019s just one of those things I can\u2019t.\u201d <\/p>\n

Fury and Paris married in November 2006 and went on to have seven children together: Venezuela Lynda, Prince John James, Prince Tyson II, Valencia Amber, Prince Adonis Amaziah,\u00a0Athena, and Rico.<\/p>\n

Fury previously said<\/a> that he cut off his wife and kids for three months to train for his December 2024 rematch against Oleksandr Usyk. <\/p>\n

Fury also said Paris is his \u201cbiggest mentor\u201d in his career. <\/p>\n

\u201cTo get a woman who\u2019s been with you all that time and gone through the bulls\u2013t,\u201d he told\u00a0The Overlap<\/a> in a 2022 interview. \u201cThe good times and the bad times \u2026 [For her] to still be there when you don\u2019t want to be and when you\u2019re being forced away and you\u2019re being pushed out, that takes a very strong individual.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy biggest mentor in my career is probably me wife. Because without her, I would have probably went AWOL a long time ago.
