– Paris Saint-Germain<\/a> and Liverpool<\/a> have joined the race to sign Aston Villa<\/a> attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers<\/a>, according to TEAMtalk<\/a>. PSG have reportedly been monitoring the 23-year-old’s situation this season, while the Reds are also now keen on securing his signature alongside Manchester United<\/a> and Arsenal<\/a>. Rogers’ representatives are aware of interest in him, but he is contracted at Villa Park until 2031, so a significant transfer fee would be required to sign him.<\/p>\n

– AC Milan<\/a> are set to dismiss interest in USMNT winger Christian Pulisic<\/a> from Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> this summer, according to Football Insider<\/a>. Previous reports have indicated that an offer of around \u20ac70 million could be required to tempt the Serie A<\/a> club to part ways with the 27-year-old, but the Rossoneri reportedly want to keep hold of him. Pep Guardiola’s side have been keeping tabs on the 23-year-old for “several months,” with City viewing him as a long-term solution on the right side of their defense, where they have deployed versatile midfielder Matheus Nunes<\/a> this season. Newcastle are still hopeful of securing Livramento to a new contract at St. James’ Park, but he hasn’t indicated a willingness to commit to new terms yet.<\/p>\n

– Newcastle striker Nick Woltemade<\/a> is unhappy at the club, according to Bild<\/a>. Woltemade, 24, only arrived from VfB Stuttgart<\/a> for \u20ac75 million in August but is already looking to move back to the Bundesliga<\/a> in the near future, and would be open to either returning to Stuttgart or joining Bayern Munich<\/a>, who were linked with him in the summer. – Talks are progressing between Liverpool and midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai<\/a> regarding a new contract. TEAMtalk<\/a> reports that the Reds have no plans to part ways with the 25-year-old amid recent links to Real Madrid<\/a>, and are prepared to “meet all of his demands” to ensure he stays put at Anfield. Szoboszlai has been a standout performer for his side this season, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in 34 matches across all competitions. His current deal isn’t set to expire until the summer of 2028.<\/p>\n

Rogers has quickly developed into a very special player. Signed for an initial \u00a38 million from Middlesbrough just over two years ago — having failed to made the grade at the Man City academy — he’s now the primary attacking force in a strong Aston Villa team and seemingly the apple of everyone’s eye.<\/p>\n

He leads all Premier League players aged 23 and under for goals and assists (13 combined), elevating him above the likes of Hugo Ekitik\u00e9, Florian Wirtz, Cole Palmer and Rayan Cherki — although he has played close to the maximum possible minutes, whereas the others haven’t.<\/p>\n

The England international is close to unstoppable when surging forward with the ball, able to both shrug defenders off as he gallops into open space and beat them in close quarters using quick feet and tricks. He’s scored a number of incredible goals this season, some from 25-30 yards out, as he strikes the ball beautifully.<\/p>\n

Whether Villa can keep hold of him could well depend on Champions League qualification, as the 23-year-old is happy in the Midlands — he regularly praises his manager Unai Emery and labels him a “genius.” If they miss out, any kind of bidding war could easily go north of \u00a380 million.<\/p>\n
