The location is no accident. The bout will take place in the same country that hosted the legendary “Rumble in the Jungle” between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman on Oct. 30, 1974, in Kinshasa.

That’s according to The Ring’s Mike Coppinger.

As for the actual fight details? They’re still pretty thin.

Early reports suggest the exhibition will consist of eight two-minute rounds with heavier gloves — likely 14- or 16-ounce — and no official broadcast partner has been announced just yet. But let’s be honest: this thing won’t struggle to find a home.

The biggest question, though, is weight.

Tyson tipped the scales at 228 pounds for his 2024 exhibition against Jake Paul, while Mayweather came in around 160 pounds for his clash with John Gotti III that same year. That’s nearly a 70-pound gap — not exactly ideal, even in an exhibition setting.

There’s also the age factor. Tyson will be 59 years old by fight night — something fight fans find concerning.

For more Tyson, Mayweather and boxing-related coverage click here.

[571
64,63,802,43957,85
post-488201","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-boxing","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-boxing","tag-boxing-news-results","tag-sports
["GET
