Speculation over Cameron Munster\u2019s future has been rife but his manager Braith Anasta has declared the situation a \u201cnon-event\u201d despite Storm coach Craig Bellamy seemingly being open to losing the superstar half.<\/p>\n
There have been rumours the incoming Perth franchise could make a mammoth offer of close to $2 million a season for Munster, who is off-contract at the end of 2027.<\/p>\n
Addressing the speculation on Wednesday<\/a>, Bellamy made it clear the club wanted to keep the Test and Queensland star, but also accepted the prospect of the 31-year-old moving on was a reality.<\/p>\n \u201cCameron\u2019s got to do what\u2019s right for him and at the end of the day if that\u2019s going to Perth, it\u2019s the best thing for him and his family. At the moment it\u2019s all just speculation,\u201d Anasta said.<\/p>\n \u201cOne thing is for sure, I\u2019m not stopping him to Perth. I\u2019m not allowed to shop him to Perth, but also, I don\u2019t need to. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a unique situation because you\u2019ve got a new franchise which doesnt come along too often and they could have interest in him or in building a team around him as a marquee player.
