(Supplied)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">In December last year, the Court of Appeal ruled Mr Lynn&#8217;s conviction should be set aside.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Court of Appeal President Karin Emerton told the court there were &#8220;a number of serious irregularities in the course of the trial&#8221; that gave rise to a substantial miscarriage of justice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">The 59-year-old is expected to face a new trial, ordered on the charge of murdering Ms Clay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">A date for the retrial has not yet been set.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Former Jetstar pilot Greg Lynn has applied for bail, as a fresh murder trial looms.
