West Coast might have lost its captain in the off-season, but the Eagles are a destination club when it comes to SuperCoach.

A host of off-season arrivals are set to be key players in Australia’s biggest fantasy game in 2026.

Meanwhile, Fremantle is home to some of the biggest scorers in the game, including a “unicorn” who could explode after changes to ruck rules.

Here are the best Eagles and Dockers to stack your team with this season.

The midfield is where the points roll in every week, and the Dockers’ one-two punch are some of the most reliable picks in SuperCoach.

Brayshaw had the sixth-best average of any midfielder last season while Serong came in at No.15 – making him great value this season ahead of an expected return to the top echelon.

Brayshaw costs $616,400 while Serong is priced at a more affordable $571,700.

Fremantle has the benefit of no early bye – unlike other midfield big guns like Marcus Bontempelli, Hugh McCluggage or Noah Anderson – and the often underrated “sleep at night” factor.

Brayshaw has averaged at least 107 points a game for the last five seasons, and he hasn’t missed a game in the last four.

LUKE JACKSON

The ruck position is one of the most intriguing heading into 2026 after the AFL introduced a series of rule changes over the summer designed to speed up the game.

A crackdown on wrestling in the centre square should promote jumping for the ball, while umps will throw the ball up quicker, which could leave slower ruckmen behind.

The changes should all favour an athlete like Jackson.

He already averaged 113 points a game last year before the rule changes and often playing alongside Sean Darcy.

This year Jackson is training as a centre bounce midfielder.

The sky is the limit.

HAYDEN YOUNG

Shaping as one of the best value picks of 2026, Young is capable of averaging over 100 points a game but is priced at the level of a 70-average player.

That discount is due to a cursed run with injuries last season, when Young managed just eight home-and-away games after a string of hamstring setbacks.

When he was fit, Young showed what he is capable of – 28 disposals in the elimination final plus seven clearances for a return of 128 SuperCoach points.

He has a prime role in the midfield and a laser left boot that sets up scores, exactly what the SuperCoach scorers love. We just need him to stay healthy.

HARLEY REID

The former no.1 pick is destined to be a star of the competition, the only question is when.

If it’s 2026, he could be a bargain pick-up in the midfield at $381,700. And the signs are all positive.

After a dose of second-year blues – Reid averaged 70.5 points a game in SuperCoach last season after 80.5 in his debut year – he has returned in great shape and looks ready to start as the Eagles’ No.1 man in the middle every week.

Reid’s ability to win his own footy and do maximum damage with it are rewarded by the SuperCoach scoring system. One area he can improve – last year he gave away more free kicks than any other player in the AFL, which are worth negative points in SuperCoach.

TOM McCARTHY

If Reid is the main man in the middle, McCarthy is No.2.

The mature-age recruit was one of the SuperCoach success stories of 2025 after being picked up in the mid-season draft and making an immediate impact – priced at just $99k, he averaged 93 points a game in the last 10 games.

After being a runaway success as a SuperCoach rookie, he could make the jump to a fantasy premium scorer in his second season. Training as an inside midfielder over summer, he has blown away track watchers with his explosiveness.

We can pick him in defence for $504,900.

EAGLES CHEAPIES

Finding bottom-priced players who will play games – especially early in the season – and increase in value is the key to SuperCoach success.

And West Coast could be a cheapie goldmine in 2026

Experienced trio Deven Robertson (Brisbane), Harry Schoenberg (Adelaide) and Finlay Macrae (Collingwood) are all eyeing spots in the best 23 for round 1 after arriving from other AFL clubs.

They all have the advantage of several years in the system but are priced at $119,900 – the same as many first-year draftees – after being starved of opportunities. Robertson, to take one example, played four games for the Lions last season – and was the sub in all of them.

In between, he was putting up big numbers in the state league. He is ready to show what he can do with more senior opportunities.

The Eagles’ draftees are also prime SuperCoach targets. Willem Duursma ($203,500) and Cooper Duff-Tytler ($190,000) are priced at the top end of the rookie bracket, but are both elite talents and the Eagles will pump games into them.

And keep an eye out for pick 19 Josh Lindsay ($122,500), who could have a great role at half-back.
