Before the renovations, the home featured a red-brick fa\u00e7ade and white pillars.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sandilands’ reported primary residency is in Vaucluse, in the city\u2019s east. He bought the harbour-view home for $14million in 2023.<\/p>\n
Sandilands,\u00a0who\u00a0was\u00a0born in Brisbane,\u00a0is\u00a0not\u00a0shy when it comes to buying homes.\u00a0In 2008, the\u00a0Australian Idol\u00a0host\u00a0bought a modest property at St Ives, Sydney\u2019s northern suburbs, with first wife Tamara Jaber.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He sold the home in 2014 after the pair’s divorce.<\/p>\n
Sandilands has also purchased properties in Los Angeles in the United States, Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, and acquired a 61-hectare farm in the Southern Highlands region of NSW.<\/p>\n
He and Ms Kynaston last year bought a property for $1.8million at Copacabana on the NSW Central Coast.<\/p>\n
The home is a four minutes\u2019 drive from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s $4.3million mansion in the coastal town.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were looking (on The Central Coast) because my wife\u2019s family, her mum, her brothers (have homes there),\u201d Sandilands previously told Triple M Central Coast presenters Paddy Gerard and Maz Compton.<\/p>\n
