Australian magazine Woman\u2019s Day has made unconfirmed reports that Delta Goodrem will compete at Eurovision in Vienna. <\/p>\n
The 23 February edition of Woman\u2019s Day (already out in stores) is reporting that Delta Goodrem will be announced as Australia\u2019s representative for Eurovision 2026.<\/p>\n
Under the headline \u201cDelta\u2019s Heading to Eurovision!\u201d, the magazine writes that \u201cinsiders reveal that the songbird, 41, will be announced as Australia\u2019s big hope in the coming weeks, jetting off to Vienna, Austria, in May to represent her country for the 70th anniversary of the show.\u201d<\/p>\n
The publication adds that a source said: \u201cDelta sees it as the perfect way to break into the coveted European market and has been telling friends she\u2019s really excited to represent Australia.<\/p>\n

It also claims Delta \u201chas been secretly working on her routine and \u2018already has ideas of what direction her performance would take\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
Delta has long been rumoured as a potential Eurovision contender.<\/p>\n
She topped our fan surve<\/a>y for the second straight year as the artist readers most want to see represent Australia.<\/p>\n About Delta Goodrem<\/p>\n The 41-year-old singer-songwriter broke onto the scene in the early 2000s with Innocent Eyes, which remains the second-highest-selling album in Australian history.<\/p>\n She also scored five UK top 10 singles and has maintained a strong international profile through touring and television roles, including as a coach on The Voice Australia.<\/p>\n More recently, she released the 2024 single Hearts on the Run, while her 2021 album Bridge Over Troubled Dreams debuted at number one in Australia.<\/p>\n In June 2025, Delta told <\/a>The Sun<\/a>, \u201cOf course I would do Eurovision. I love it!\u201d<\/p>\n Could this Australia Eurovision 2026 rumour be true?<\/p>\n She is scheduled to perform in Fiji from 20\u201326 April 2026, leaving time to travel to Vienna for rehearsals in early May if selected.<\/p>\n At this stage, neither SBS nor Delta has officially confirmed the report.<\/p>\n As always with pre-selection speculation, until an announcement is made, it remains speculation.<\/p>\n
