Jon Stewart<\/a> is sharing his thoughts on the future of The Daily Show<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The 62-year-old host opened up about the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/a> on the Thursday (July 17) episode of his podcast. <\/p>\n

Because his show is on a networked owned by the same parent company as The Late Show was, Jon shared whether or not he worries that his show might be next. <\/p>\n

On his podcast, Jon said that he hasn\u2019t heard anything about the future of his show yet. He said, \u201cUnfortunately, we haven\u2019t heard anything from them. They haven\u2019t called me and said like, \u2018Don\u2019t get too comfortable in that office, Stewart!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the uncertainty, Jon kept his signature sense of humor about the possibility of his show getting the axe amid Paramount\u2019s possible upcoming merger. He joked on the podcast, \u201cI\u2019ve been kicked out of sh\u2014ier establishments than that. We\u2019ll land on our feet.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Jon got serious about the possibility of being cancelled but remained hopeful, saying that he \u201clike[s] to think we bring enough value\u201d to the network for them to keep his show around. <\/p>\n

He went on to say, \u201cI\u2019d like to believe that\u2026 Like, without The Daily Show, Comedy Central<\/a> is kind of like muzak at this point. I think we\u2019re the only sort of life that exists on a current basis other than South Park<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
