This time, across 12 rounds at 130 lbs, Wood controlled the tempo, distance, and narrative from the very first bell. Where their first fight hinged on a single moment, this one was decided on method. Judges saw it clearly: 119-109, 119-110, and 117-111; a wide unanimous decision in Wood’s favor. Wood improved his pro record to 29-4 (17 KOs) while Warrington fell to 32-5-1 (8 KOs).

Wood boxed like a man intent on leaving nothing to chance with a reliable jab, measured combinations, and range control. Warrington, once a two-time IBF featherweight world champion, never quite found his rhythm, his trademark pressure blunted by Wood’s discipline.

As both men weigh their next step — whether that’s retirement, reinvention, or another run — this bout stands as the latest evidence of life cycles in boxing: two veterans, deeply familiar with one another, meeting not just to settle a score, but to define where they now sit in the sport’s pecking order.

Undercard Results
British & Commonwealth Super Welterweight Title

Bilal Fawaz vs. Ishmael Davis
Bilal Fawaz edged Ishmael Davis to capture both the British and Commonwealth super welterweight titles by majority decision. Scorecards read 115-113, 115-114 for Fawaz and 114-114 on the third card. Their scorecards were a lot closer than ours at The Sweet Science, where we had Fawaz comfortably winning. Fawaz’s record now improves to 11-1-1 (3 KOs); Davis drops to 15-4 (6 KOs).

Fawaz’s victory was a slow-build success. His awkwardness proved to be disruptive to effectively neutralize Davis. Davis pressed, as expected, but couldn’t sustain enough clean offense to retain his titles.

WBC World Super Lightweight Title

Sandy Ryan vs. Karla Ramos Zamora
In the vacant WBC super lightweight championship, Sandy Ryan emerged with the belt via majority decision.

Ryan’s record now stands at 9-3-1 (3 KOs); Ramos Zamora’s is 12-10-2 (4 KOs). The judges scored the bout 97-93, 97-93 for Ryan, with one card 95-95. Although we got the feed late, if the commentators were active in their assessment of the three early rounds, the judges may have gotten the wrong winner. It’s evident Sandy Ryan can fight, she has quality technique. However, possessing it and actually implementing it is what makes the difference. Zamora was aggressive and in our opinion, she outworked Ryan throughout the fight. The judges scorecards may be a case of hometown cooking.

Ryan becomes a two-weight world champion, adding the WBC belt to her previous junior welterweight credentials and reinforcing her status as one of Britain’s most technically versatile female fighters.

Heavyweight Bout

Dave Allen vs. Karim Berredjem
Heavyweight stalwart Dave Allen returned in emphatic fashion, stopping French journeyman Karim Berredjem inside the first round. Berredjem went down twice and his corner threw in the towel. It should be noted that when Allen hit Berredjem on the back of the head, it seemed to go unnoticed.
Allen’s updated record is 25-8-2 (20 KOs) and confirms his ability to leverage size and experience in early exchanges. Berredjem moves to 12-11 (3 KOs).

Heavyweight Prospect Showcase

Leo Atang vs. Dan Garber
Nineteen-year-old Leo Atang continued his unbeaten ascent with a first-round stoppage of Dan Garber. Referee Kevin Parker stopped the fight much too early. A fighter deserves an opportunity to fight through a difficult patch, and Atang’s punches weren’t even landing crisply.
Atang’s record improves to 5-0 (5 KOs); Garber falls to 11-7 (2 KOs).

Women’s Bantamweight Bout

Tiah-Mai Ayton vs. Catherine Tacone Ramos
Ayton took a points victory over Ramos over eight rounds at bantamweight. Ayton’s record now sits at 5-0 (4 KOs); Ramos stands at 9-4-1 (2 KOs).

Women’s Super Bantamweight Fight

Molly McCann vs. Beata Dudek
Former UFC standout Molly McCann scored a dominant unanimous decision (60-55) in her six-round outing at super bantamweight. Her professional record advances to 3-0 (1 KO); Dudek falls to 7-9 (4 KOs).

McCann showed growing rhythm and technical maturity, rocking Dudek early before settling into a comfortable points victory.

Welterweight

Joe Howarth vs. Dan Booth
In a four-round welterweight bout, Joe Howarth emerged with a clean points win. Howarth’s record improves to 15-2 (4 KOs); Booth moves to 6-18 (3 KOs)

Wood vs. Warrington II: Fight Results and Recaps Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham — February 21, 2026 If boxing is…

[571
64,63,249876,249877,802,249878,249879,249880,23809,249881,249882,247659,249883,249884,247658,249885,21789,249886,85,25288,249887,25290
0":"post-495905","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-boxing","8":"tag-au","9":"tag-australia","10":"tag-beata-dudek","11":"tag-bilal-fawaz","12":"tag-boxing","13":"tag-cahterine-tacone-ramos","14":"tag-dan-booth","15":"tag-dan-garber","16":"tag-dave-allen","17":"tag-ishmael-davis","18":"tag-joe-howarth","19":"tag-josh-warrington","20":"tag-karim-berredjem","21":"tag-karla-ramos-zamora","22":"tag-leigh-wood","23":"tag-leo-atang","24":"tag-molly-mccann","25":"tag-sandy-ryan","26":"tag-sports","27":"tag-the-sweet-science","28":"tag-tiah-mai-ayton","29":"tag-tss
["GET
