The UFC’s return to Texas was a slow burn, but ultimately UFC Fight Night 267<\/a> at Toyota Center in Houston ended on a compelling high.<\/p>\n

Former middleweight champion Sean Strickland<\/a> (29-7 MMA, 16-7 UFC) captured the night’s biggest moment when he dominated Anthony Hernandez<\/a> (15-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) en route to a third-round TKO<\/a>, potentially setting him up for a title grudge match showdown with Khamzat Chimaev<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Medic has earned all 13 of his career victories by stoppage. He’s finished all seven of his UFC wins by knockout.<\/p>\n

Medic’s five knockout victories since 2021 in UFC competition are tied with Carlos Ulberg for second-most among active fighters in the weight class behind Michal Oleksiejczuk (six).<\/p>\n

Medic’s seven knockout since 2021 in UFC competition are tied with Steven Garcia for second-most in the company behind Alex Pereira (eight).<\/p>\n

Melquizael Costa def. Dan Ige<\/p>\n

Costa’s (27-7 MMA, 6-3 UFC) seven-fight winning streak at featherweight is the third-longest active streak I the division behind Lerone Murphy (nine) and Movsar Evloev (eight).<\/p>\n

Costa has earned four of his seven UFC victories by stoppage.<\/p>\n

Costa earned the sixth knockout in UFC history stemming from a spinning back kick to the head. Renan Barao, Uriah Hall, Magomed Mustafaev, Joaquin Buckley, and Natalia Silva also accomplished the feat.<\/p>\n

Dan Ige (19-11 MMA, 11-10 UFC) suffered the first stoppage loss of his career with a knockout defeat.<\/p>\n

Serghei Spivac def. Ante Delija<\/p>\n

Serghei Spivac (18-6 MMA, 9-6 UFC) has landed 32 takedowns in UFC heavyweight competition, the third-most in divisional history behind Curtis Blaydes (62) and Cain Velasquez (34).<\/p>\n

Jacobe Smith def. Josiah Harrell<\/p>\n

Jacobe Smith (12-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has earned 10 of his 12 career victories by stoppage.<\/p>\n

Josiah Harrell (11-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) had his 11-fight winning streak snapped for the first defeat of his career.<\/p>\n

Michel Pereira def. Zach Reese<\/p>\n

Michel Pereira (31-14 MMA, 10-5 UFC) improved to 4-3 since he moved up to the middleweight division in October 2023.<\/p>\n

Zach Reese (10-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) suffered the first decision loss of his career.<\/p>\n
