Dana White has given his thoughts on Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano being booked for a Netflix show as opposed to the UFC.<\/p>\n

As we know, later this year we will see Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano make their respective returns to mixed martial arts competition<\/a>. They will collide on Netflix in association with Most Valuable Promotions, although many expected that if Ronda did wind up returning to the sport, it would likely be with the UFC. Alas, that didn\u2019t quite come to fruition.<\/p>\n

Dana White has been asked several times in recent months about a possible return for Ronda Rousey. \u2018Rowdy\u2019 was once the biggest star in all of MMA, but after losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, she made the decision to move on to pastures new in the world of professional wrestling.<\/p>\n

In his post-fight press conference appearance following UFC Houston, Dana White had the following to say about Rousey vs Carano.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cHer and I have been talking about this since last year,\u201d White said about Rousey at the post-fight press conference. \u201cIt just didn\u2019t work out. But I\u2019m happy for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, me and Gina are in a really good place, we weren\u2019t at one point. I\u2019m happy for both of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
