The move comes as a direct response to the \u201csignificant cash flow challenges\u201d currently facing the Corowa Golf Club, ensuring that the greens remain playable despite financial pressures.<\/p>\n<p>Securing the Lifeblood of the Course<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">For any golf course, water is not just a utility\u2014it is a survival requirement. Club Corowa CEO Peter Norris highlighted that the purchase is designed to prevent the degradation of the facility while the golf club navigates its future.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0\">\u201cAccess to reliable water is essential for the ongoing operation and irrigation of the golf course,\u201d Mr. Norris said. \u201cWithout it, the course simply cannot be maintained to a standard that serves members, visitors and the wider community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">By securing these rights, Club Corowa will be able to provide water under a temporary access arrangement, allowing the course to maintain its condition while long-term options for the golf club are evaluated.<\/p>\n<p>A Commitment to Regional Tourism and Social Assets<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">The board\u2019s decision was framed as an act of responsible community leadership.
