\n\tLizzo<\/a> chatted about some of her famous friends \u2014 from Harry Styles to SZA and Kehlani \u2014 while guesting on The Jennifer Hudson Show, a clip from which Billboard can exclusively premiere Monday (Feb. 23).<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the upcoming episode of the talk show, the Yitty founder cackled when asked whether she or a certain One Direction alum is a better dancer. On the one hand, as Lizzo pointed out, Styles\u2019 new \u201cAperture\u201d music video features many memorable moments of aerodynamic choreography.<\/p>\n

\n\tBut on the other? \u201cI\u2019m gonna have to say I throw a\u2013 better than Harry Styles,\u201d the \u201cAbout Damn Time\u201d hitmaker said of her friend, with whom she performed at his 2022 headlining Coachella set. \u201cSorry, Harry!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLizzo had a less difficult time deciding who she\u2019d theoretically like to form a music group with. \u201cI think this one\u2019s easy, because we almost formed a band,\u201d she told host Jennifer Hudson. \u201cBut SZA and Kehlani. It would be punk rock. We\u2019d all have mohawks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere in the exclusive clip \u2014 which comes ahead of the full episode\u2019s premiere on Tuesday (Feb. 24) \u2014 the four-time Grammy winner bonds with the American Idol alum (herself a two-time Grammy winner) over the complexities of fame and shows off her new puppy, whom she named Anastasia. The interview comes just after Lizzo wrapped her mini-residency at the Blue Note Jazz Club in Los Angeles, where she played six shows<\/a> across three nights Feb. 20-22.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe vocalist hasn\u2019t dropped music since 2025, a year that saw her release singles such as \u201cLove in Real Life\u201d and \u201cStill Bad\u201d from an indefinitely delayed album titled Love in Real Life. Rather than unveiling the LP, Lizzo shared mixtape My Face Hurts From Smiling in June, telling Vulture <\/a>a few months later that the original project \u201cjust wasn\u2019t what [she] was feeling right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was like, \u2018I need to do s\u2013t differently, and I don\u2019t know what it is, but I\u2019m going to just start following my instincts,’\u201d she added at the time. \u201cI sat down at the table [with my label], and I said, \u2018I need to do s\u2013t my way starting from now. And I need y\u2019all to have my back. It\u2019s going to be a little scary.\u2019 And everybody agreed, and they said, \u2018We got your back, whatever you need.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
