Gym junkies are rushing to a surprising fast-food chain to hit their protein goals thanks to a viral $2 hack.<\/p>\n
Aussie TikTokker, realtradingpool, has been opening the minds of fitness freaks who typically steer clear of junk food hubs, turning Hungry Jacks into protein paradise.<\/p>\n
It comes from the simple trick of ordering a singular grilled chicken patty, which cost just $1.85 each and are jam packed with 20g of protein.<\/p>\n
The influencer posted a TikTok to show how easy the \u2018simple\u2019 trick is, filming himself pulling through a local drive-thru.<\/p>\n
Asking for \u201ctwo grilled chicken patties on their own\u201d might of taken the server aback, but the video\u2019s creator was bewildered with how simple the trick is.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat a ripper, $3.70, the macros are 80 to 90 calories per grilled chicken patty, and about 20 grams of protein,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In another video showing his friend, the TikTokker suggests that they can provide an easy source of protein when planning meals for the week.<\/p>\n
\u201cGrab f…ing five of those, meal prep that for the next few days \u2014 beautiful,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The flame-grilled chicken breasts offer an alternative to the typical deep-fried chicken which is commonplace at fast-food joints, McDonalds have long had their own alternative with a single breast costing $3 for 25g of protein.<\/p>\n
This viral hack comes following a recent wave of fast-food chains trying to change their brand outlook, KFC recently released their own \u2018creator-fuelled, protein-packed\u2019 range.<\/p>\n
Partnering with fitness influencers to release \u2018protein filled\u2019 packs and marketing the options as healthy, but have received criticism for ignoring the high fat concentrate in each item.<\/p>\n
