{"id":503111,"date":"2026-02-25T12:27:19","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T12:27:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/503111\/"},"modified":"2026-02-25T12:27:19","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T12:27:19","slug":"bathurst-1000-winners-throwing-open-workshop-doors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/503111\/","title":{"rendered":"Bathurst 1000 winners throwing open workshop doors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GROVE Racing will throw open the doors to its Victorian headquarters for fans this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The Ford squad is holding an open day and garage sale on the morning of Saturday February 28 from 9:30am AEDT.<\/p>\n<p>The Supercars team\u2019s drivers will be on hand for signings and photos, while both 2026 Penrite Mustangs will be on display \u2013 as will the retired car that conquered last year\u2019s Bathurst 1000 in the hands of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2716-Matt-Payne\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Matt Payne<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-8-Garth-Tander\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Garth Tander<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The latter, chassis GR-01, has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/grove-bathurst-winner-restored-to-race-day-condition\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">restored to the exact condition in which it finished the Great Race<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/1-18-scale-2025-bathurst-1000-winner-100-ford-mustang-payne-tander-model-pre-order?utm_source=SRBuyButton&amp;utm_medium=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ACD18F25BWW_PitBoard_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Groves enjoyed a strong start to the new season last weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park, with Matt Payne grabbing a share of the overall points lead, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2726-Kai-Allen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kai Allen<\/a> got close to his maiden main game race win.<\/p>\n<p>Albert Park will host Round 2, the Melbourne SuperSprint, across March 5-8.<\/p>\n<p>Grove Racing\u2019s headquarters are located at 8 Helen Kob Drive in Braeside.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"GROVE Racing will throw open the doors to its Victorian headquarters for fans this weekend.
