The pair exchanged breaks at the start of the match, but it was domination from the Spaniard after that as she won 10 of the next 11 service games to seal a 6-3 6-1 win.<\/p>\n<p>She faces Magdalena Frech next. She was not close to her best but defeated Maria Timofeeva in straight sets. Frech was a break down at 4-3 in the first set but reeled off three straight games to pull ahead. A topsy-turvy second set saw eight breaks of serve overall, with Timofeeva squandering three set points and failing to serve out the set on two occasions.
