But what humans can no longer do, machines can now do. The most advanced AI models today have read pretty much everything worth reading. And the results of being so well read are impressive and are transforming the world\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n<p>But we shouldn\u2019t confuse this with intelligence. We\u2019re not used to how much you can solve when you can retrieve information from terabytes of training data. We\u2019re impressed, for example, that AI models can ace a medical school entrance exam. But if you look closely, the medical questions being asked are often close to those in the training data.
